Celebrate Recovery is a new ministry to Rez, and because of this we understand that there may be some questions for those interested in attending, or thinking of recommending it to friends and family. Here is a list of the most popular FAQ’s. Feel free to post any questions in the comments that you may have that are not answered here.
When and where is Celebrate Recovery?
We will meet every Saturday from 4-6pm in the Rez High School Atrium. We will meet as a large group for a time or worship and a lesson then break into groups separated by gender in the school class rooms.
Is childcare provided?
Yes. Childcare is located on the north side of the building.
Who is Celebrate Recovery for?
Celebrate Recovery is a safe place for anyone who is dealing with a hurt, habit or hang-up. This can include drug, alcohol or sexual addictions, codependency, healing from divorce, abuse, death, fear, depression… We believe nothing is too big or too small for the healing power of Christ and the freedom that He brings.
Can I bring my child?
We welcome families in CR, but due to the sensitivity of the group we ask that anyone attending be 18+.
How long is Celebrate Recovery?
The Celebrate Recovery program is a 9 month commitment and will end in December.
What is the cost of Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery is a free program, but there is a small cost for materials that will be used. We will use 4 participant guides that cost $6 each (a total of $24). You may purchase your participant guides when you register or at the first meeting.
How and when do I register?
Registration will be available after each service the weekend of March 3&4 and 10&11. We will have a table at the back of the main sanctuary. We recommend registering ASAP as space is limited and will fill up quickly.
Is there “homework” for this program in the week?
Yes! Celebrate Recovery uses Participant Guides to work through the 12 steps. The participant guide contains questions that need to be answered then will be shared in our small group time.
May I attend Celebrate Recovery if I am not a member of Rez?
Yes, we welcome anyone who would like to go through the program.
