Healing Prayer ministry at Resurrection Fellowship is a Body ministry. It consists of members of the Body of Christ allowing the power and the Spirit of Jesus to flow through them to heal answering the call that Jesus gave to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. The leaders of the Healing Prayer Ministry at Rez believes God’s word is true and His power still heals today. The team members are all people who come highly recommended by the Pastoral Staff of Resurrection Fellowship, meaning they are trustworthy and safe people who love God.

We typically meet the first and second Sunday evenings each month. Our meetings are an “open house” format where you can come anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and one of our teams will pray for you. We do not offer any childcare, but children, family members, and friends are always welcome to come and be with you during the prayer time.

The Healing Prayer Ministry is not equipped to minister to those seeking emotional healing or deliverance. The Prayer team’s responsibility is to listen to the Holy Spirit and accurately speak what they hear or see; the recipient’s responsibility is to judge their words according to the Word of God. “Test all things; hold fast to what is good” 1 Thess. 5:20-21. People of other faiths are welcome. However, please be aware that we will be praying in the name of Jesus for your healing.

[UPDATE] Out of the Box Prophetic Conference

Out of the Box Prophetic Conference with Doug Addison in the RCS Auditorium. Friday, April 20 at 6 pm and Saturday April 21 at 9 am to 11:30 and 1:00 to 2:30. This is a mini conference covering topics such as dream interpretation, prophecy and prophetic evangelism. It is free and open to the public, but requires online registration at rez.org. Healing Testimony from November 13th Healing Prayer

We had two women come in with pain in their feet.  One of them had bone spurs that caused horrible pain when she would walk.  She has an aunt who had the same problem with bone spurs that had come to Healing Prayer earlier this year and had been healed.  She sat with tears streaming down her face, stunned at how the Lord had healed her too.  The team prayed a simple prayer releasing the Kingdom over her and the pain left her feet.  Praise God she was healed too, just like her Aunt.

We also had another woman come in a wheel chair with pain in her foot and she also left pain-free.

Healing Testimony from September 4th

Sunday night, we had the honor to pray for a little boy who had bilateral clubbed feet.
When he was born, he was born with both feet upside down and backwards.  He has
already had a couple of surgeries and his feet were positioned correctly but  lately,
they have turned inward again and the toes have started to curl under.  In October
the doctors were going to have to recast both feet  and  if that didn’t work, they
were going to have to do another surgery and cut the muscles on top of the feet above the ankles
and redirect the muscles.  We asked the little guy if we could pray for him and if we could take
his shoes and socks off and he said yes.  As we prayed for him, his feet turned outward to
the proper alignment and all the tightness on top of his feet that was there because of the toes
curling under, went away.  When asking the mom how his feet looked, with tears in her eyes,
she said he has normal feet.  He walked around and when I asked him if he felt something different
with his feet, he said “Yes, my feet were up and now they are down”.  Because his toes were curling
under, it was causing him to walk more up on his toes so when the Lord healed him, his feet
were able to be flat again and he was able to notice the difference.

Healing Testimony from August 14 Healing Prayer

A couple came in for prayer, and the husband only spoke Spanish, so the wife had to interpret. The husband needed prayer for unexplained pain in his left arm and right leg, and an irregular heartbeat. Kim and I began to pray for him. I thought his wife would begin interpreting, but she didn’t. I guess she must have had more faith than I, because she apparently didn’t think it was necessary. The husband was slain in the Spirit, and lay on the floor for a while with his left arm twitching. After he got up, he told us (through his wife) that it felt like someone was moving his arm, and that a needle had pierced his heart. All pain was gone from his arm, and he marveled at the fact that a lump near his wrist had almost completely disappeared, and that now he could feel his arm bone! I was amazed how God healed this Spanish-speaking man through our prayers in English. He then asked for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We prayed for that, and believe he received.

Then we prayed for the wife, who had received traumatic injury at age 2 that had left her with her left leg about 1″ shorter than the right. She had recently gone to the doctor, and x-rays revealed that her left hip bone was deteriorated and much smaller than the right side. The doctor had even mentioned the possibility of hip replacement, but she’s much too young for that. Well, we prayed, and God grew her leg out! Woo hoo! She walked around a bit and said she felt much lighter. She still looked as though she wanted to walk as if her leg was shorter, probably from being used to walking that way for so many years She then asked for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and received it with the evidence of speaking in tongues. She also was slain in the Spirit. When she came around, and got back up, I noticed that she then walked and stood evenly. She said that she now felt even lighter still.
