The Word of God states that the church or the Body of Christ is the House of the Lord. I Cor. 3:9 says, "For we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building." Eph. 2:19-22 describes this house that God Himself is building. If we are born-again, we are the place where God lives. We are His habitation, the place where He is dwelling and residing.

We are the place where His presence lives. He has called His house, "the House of Prayer," Is. 56:7. We are the place where His prayer dwells. We are the place where prayer is produced.

Many years ago, God spoke to us and said that Resurrection Fellowship would be a house of prayer. He wants the individuals, the families, and the corporate body of Resurrection Fellowship to become His house of prayer.

In order to see that developed, we would like to invite you to become a part of the house of prayer at Rez.

Convergence…2012

What can I say about Convergence. It is life changing. I experienced the Shekinah glory of God tonight. It is indescribable. It cannot be explained or described. It just has to be experienced. And that is exactly what happened tonight at Convergence. The “it” that I am talking about isn’t even an “it”. The Shekinah glory of God is a person and His name is Jesus. Jesus showed up at Convergence tonight. You DO NOT want to  miss the Convergence Conference. God is showing up in a BIG sort of way.

12/7 Prayer

We are going to do a 12/7 time of prayer leading up to the Convergence Conference. We will be praying 12 hours a day for 7 days in our new prayer room above the visitor center. It begins this Wed. “Christmas is His Day”

I have a framed anonymous letter written about Jesus that I thought would be great to share on Christmas day. I am forever grateful to God for sending us His son. Here is the letter.

More than nineteen hundred years ago, there was a man born contrary to the laws of life. This man lived in poverty and was reared in obscurity. He did not travel extensively. Only once did he cross the boundary of the country in which he lived; that was during his exile in childhood.

He possessed neither wealth nor influence. His relatives were  inconspicuous, and had neither training nor formal education. In infancy he startled a king; in childhood he puzzled doctors; in manhood he ruled the course of nature, walked upon the billows as if pavements, and hushed the sea to sleep. He healed the multitudes without medicine and made no charge for his service.

He never wrote  book, and yet all the libraries of the world could not hold the books that have been written about him. He never wrote a song, and yet he has furnished the theme for more songs than all the songwriters combined.

He never founded a college, but all the schools put together cannot boast of having as many students. He never marshalled an army, nor drafted a soldier, nor fired a gun; and yet no leader ever had more volunteers who have , under his orders, made more rebels stack arms and surrender without a shot fired.

He never practiced psychiatry, and yet he has healed more broken hearts than all the doctors far and near. Once a week the wheels of commerce cease their turning and multiples wend their way to worshipping assemblies to pay homage and respect to him.

The names of the past proud statesmen of Greece and Rome have come and gone. The names of past scientists, philosophers, and theologians have come and gone; but the name of THIS man abounds more and more. Though time has spread nineteen hundred years between the people of this generation and the scene of His crucifixion, yet he still lives. Herod could not destroy him, and the grave could not hold him.

He stands forth upon the highest pinnacle of heavenly glory, proclaimed of God, acknowledged by angels, adored by saints, and feared by devils, as the living personal Christ…….our Savior and Lord.

What a loving God!

:1 Bless the Lord O my soul; and all that is within me….bless His holy name.

:2 Bless the Lord O my soul; and forget not all His benefits.

:3 Who forgives all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies.

:8 The Lord is merciful, gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

What an amazing God we serve. He loves us!

Prayer for our nation

I want to make you all aware of a new prayer meeting that is starting this Sat…..Oct. 1 at 9:00AM in the prayer room at Rez. This prayer meeting is being started for the purpose of praying for our nation. There are so many things happening in our country. We need to cry out to God for our great nation. I love my country so much. My dad served in the US Army, my father-in-law, husband and son all served in the United States Marines. I love the way our nation was founded and the precepts that it was founded upon. Let’ s gather together on the first Saturday of every month to cry out to God for a fresh move of His Spirit……..Pastor Diane Blanco

Saturday night at Rez.

We had an amazing service tonight. Jesus was in the house in a huge way. We worshipped Him with all of our hearts and His presence was so tangible. I’m not kidding…You could feel the presence of the Lord in the room. I thank God that He is so alive. I praise Him for His resurrection. He is alive and moving in the earth today. He wants to make Himself known to people. He wants people to know that He is not a far away God. But He is as close as the mention of His name. He is so full of love, forgiveness, grace, mercy, truth and justice. If you couldn’t make it to church tonight, come and join us tomorrow morning at 8:30 and or 10:30.

This weekend at rez.

Please go online and go to the Rez website and listen to the 10:30 service. Enrique Chagoya was with us…he shared some very significant things and then Pastor Jonathan got up and shared the love of God in a very unique way…It was absolutely beautiful! I am convinced beyond a shadow of any doubt that the revival we have all been praying for , for many years is a revival of the love of God!!!!!! He loves us…Oh how He loves us…Oh how He loves us ……Oh how He loves us.
